Inštitut za mladinsko politiko je neprofitni zasebni zavod, usmerjen v analizo področja mladine v kontekstu družbenega dogajanja z namenom oblikovanja mladim prijaznejšega okolja za življenje in razvoj.

 Delo inštituta je primarno usmerjeno v:

  • vzpostavljanje in razvoj lokalnih mladinskih politik;
  • vzpostavljanje mehanizmov participacije mladih na lokalni ravni;
  • vzpostavljanje mehanizmov za povečanje avtonomije mladih;
  • raziskovanje položaja mladih v kontekstu družbenega dogajanja z namenom vzpostavljanja novih mehanizmov sodelovanja mladih v upravljanju javnih zadev in izboljšanja položaja mladih;
  • omogočanje neformalnega učenja in usposabljanja ter večanje kompetenc mladih;
  • spodbujanje sodelovanja mladih pri upravljanju javnih zadev v družbi;
  • pripravo strokovnih gradiv za vzpostavljanje in razvoj lokalnih mladinskih politik.

Delovanje Inštituta za mladinsko politiko odgovarja na izzive družbenega dogajanja na mladinskem področju v Sloveniji: relativno šibko razvito področje lokalnih mladinskih politik; pomanjkanje znanj in kompetenc zaposlenih v občinskih strokovnih službah za učinkovito reševanje vprašanj mladih; aktualne spremembe Zakona o lokalni samoupravi, ki umeščajo področje mladine med izvorne naloge občine.

Inštitut za mladinsko politiko spodbuja razvoj lokalne mladinske politike in ponuja lokalnim skupnostim strokovno podporo pri sistemskem urejanju področja mladine z namenom ustvarjanja takih pogojev, ki mladim omogočajo učinkovitejše soočanje in reševanje težav, ki v zadnjih letih močno zaznamujejo njihovo življenje in razvoj, kot so: visoka stopnja brezposelnosti med mladimi, vse pogostejše nestalne in manj kakovostne oblike zaposlovanja, finančna odvisnost mladih od staršev, občutek negotovosti in daljši časovni okvir pri oblikovanju lastne družine in odselitvi od doma.

NAŠE POSLANSTVO

 

Inštitut za mladinsko politiko spodbuja vzpostavljanje in razvoj mladinske politike v slovenskih občinah in državi. Z učinkovitim podpornim okoljem, temelječem na raziskavah, izobraževanjih in strokovnih gradivih, posameznikom, občinam in njihovim združenjem ter državi pomaga razvijati trajnostno naravnano mladinsko politiko. S tem prispeva k aktivni participaciji mladih in izboljšanju položaja mladih na vseh področjih, ki se tičejo njihovega življenja in dela, med katerimi so ključna zaposlovanje, stanovanjska politika, izobraževanje.

NAŠA VIZIJA

 

Inštitut za mladinsko politiko bo leta 2026 vodilna organizacija za razvoj na raziskavah temelječe trajnostno naravnane in potrebam mladih prilagojene lokalne mladinske politike v Sloveniji z izdelanimi analizami, normativi in standardi ter vzorci za implementacijo v slovenskih občinah. Ob sistemski podpori občinam bo za mlade razvijal in izvajal programe in projekte na ključnih področjih njihovega življenja in osamosvajanja
